The region’s largest private hospital, announced a new round of staff cuts Monday.
MedStar Washington Hospital Center is cutting more than 200 jobs because of mounting financial troubles.
Several management positions were eliminated last week, The Washington Post reported. Non-management employees will get their notices Tuesday.
The cuts don’t include any bedside nurses.
The hospital laid off about 200 people in 2011.
