A Maryland man was shot and killed Sunday afternoon, police said.
Dolphin Bernard Jackson, 57, was fatally shot at about 2:15 p.m. near 2 Woodland Court in Laurel, Maryland, near Applewoods Dog Training.
Laurel Police responded to a report of shots fired near the area and found Jackson suffering from a gunshot wound.
Emergency Medical Services transferred Jackson to a local hospital, where he later died from his injuries.
Police are investigating the incident as a homicide and ask that anyone with information call 301-498-0092 or send an anonymous email.
