Md. Deaf School Aide: Touching Was Accidental

Jurors at the child molestation trial of a former Maryland School for the Deaf aide are hearing for the first time from the defendant.

Prosecutors in Ellicott City played video Wednesday of Clarence Taylor's December interview with Howard County police.

In the interview, the 37-year-old suspect acknowledged he touched girls' buttocks and breasts but said it was accidental contact in a crowded hallway at the Columbia campus.

He denied allegations he kissed some of the seven alleged victims and told one that he loved her.

Taylor also has denied charges that he asked three of the girls to send him revealing photographs.

Taylor acknowledged in the police interview that school officials put him on probation more than a year before his arrest for texting students.
