McLEAN, Va. -- A manhunt for a burglary suspect is under way in McLean.
A woman saw two burglars running out of her home in the 7200 block of Churchill Street when she returned late Monday morning, investigators said. They fled on foot, leaving their vehicle behind.
With the aid of K-9 units and a police helicopter, officers apprehended one suspect, police said. A bloodhound sniffed out that suspect.
Another burglar remains free.
Two schools in the area were locked down while Fairfax County police searched. Children only were allowed to leave by school bus or in the custody of a parent.
