Culprits Sought in McDonald's Robbery Attempt

Investigators hope surveillance pictures will help them catch four people who tried to rob a McDonald's in Sterling, Va., according to the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office.

The four culprits entered the restaurant on Pidgeon Hill Road before 12:30 a.m. One brandished a knife.

Their faces were covered during the holdup, but investigators are hoping the Texas Longhorns cap that one of the culprits was wearing and the L.A. Dodgers hat another wore may help the public to recognize them.

The restaurant employees fled during the robbery attempt and the culprits left  empty handed.

If you have any information regarding the attempted robbery, you can call the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office Criminal Investigations Division at (703) 777-0475.
