Maryland Man Pleads Guilty to Sexual Abuse of Unconscious Woman

A Maryland man pleaded guilty Thursday to sexually assaulting an unconscious woman in her southeast D.C. home.

Antawon Randall, 28, of Capitol Heights, attended a party at the apartment of the victim and her husband Sept. 8, according to government evidence.

The victim became sick from drinking too much and passed out. After her husband left for work, Randall snuck into the victim’s room and sexually assaulted her, the government said.

Randall pleaded guilty to second-degree sexual abuse and fourth-degree sexual abuse. He faces a maximum of 20 years at sentencing Oct. 11. He also must register as a sex offender for at least 10 years.
