A Clinton, Maryland, man died in a motorcycle crash Monday, police said.
Patrol officers responded to a report of a motorcycle accident in the 9600 block of Dangerfield Road shortly after 8:30 p.m. and found Charles Edward Thomas III, 21, suffering from critical injuries, police said. They pronounced him dead at the scene.
It appears Thomas had been traveling northbound on Dangerfield Road when, for unknown reasons, his motorcycle left the roadway, coming to rest in a nearby yard, police said.
The investigation is ongoing.
