Maryland Man Accused of Bringing Handgun to Job at McDonald's

Employee said he was holding gun for a friend

An employee at a McDonald's restaurant in Hagerstown, Md., was arrested for allegedly bringing a loaded handgun to work over the weekend.

Troopers were called Sunday afternoon to a McDonald's on Sharpsburg Pike after a manager learned that an employee had brought a .45-caliber handgun to the restaurant.

Police have identified the employee as 18-year-old Brandon Duane Bloyer, of Hagerstown.

Bloyer says it wasn't his gun. He says he had it in his book bag, but he was just holding it for a friend.
