Maryland Infant has ‘Traumatic Injury' After Fall, Fire Officials Say

An infant has suffered a "traumatic injury" after fire officials believe the child may have fallen four stories in Takoma Park, Maryland.

Montgomery County Fire and EMS spokesman Pete Piringer said firefighters responded to the 8200 block of Roanoke Avenue about 7:20 p.m. Saturday after reports an infant was injured in a fall.

Medics took the baby to the hospital as a Priority 1 patient with a traumatic injury, fire officals said. They said the baby does not have life-threatening injuries.
