A Maryland high school teacher is accused of having an inappropriate relationship with a student.
The Magruder High School teacher is on administrative leave following the allegation.
The principal sent a letter home to parents saying someone reported inappropriate conduct by the teacher.
“I was shocked initially when I heard about it, and it makes me feel uncomfortable at school sometimes, because, like, that’s my educational facility,” student Claire Simonson told News4.
“First, I want to know what teacher it was because I want to make sure that I don’t have them and that I don’t feel unsafe in the school,” student Carly Raker said.
School officials did not identify the teacher or provide specific details.
