A couple in Saint Mary's County was arrested for allegedly sexually abusing a child.
Gregory Morgan, 34, from Mechanicsville, and 32-year-old Sherry Knott are accused of several sexual acts involving a child under the age of 14 that was known to the couple, according to the sheriff’s office.
The alleged abuse took place between January and June in 2010.
Detectives arrested Knott Thursday. Morgan, who is a registered sex offender, was arrested Friday and charged with several sex offenses, including second-degree rape.
