People driving in and around Washington can expect road closures Sunday as runners participate in the Marine Corps Marathon.
Runners will start the race in Arlington before crossing the Key Bridge into the District.
While in Washington, runners will pass historic landmarks such as the Jefferson Memorial, the Washington Monument and the U.S. Capitol.
Eventually they will cross the 14th Street Bridge back into Virginia.
The finish line is located at the Marine Corps War Memorial.
