A Marine from the D.C. area was stabbed to death at a house party in Baltimore, authorities said.
Pfc. Darius Ray, of Potomac, Md., was stabbed multiple times at about 4 a.m. Saturday during a fight at a house in northeast Baltimore, Police spokesman Anthony Guglielmi said. Ray was taken to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
A second victim was stabbed and is in serious but stable condition.
Police believe the culprit left the party after an altercation but then returned with a knife and stabbed both victims, then fled on foot.
After interviewing more than 30 witnesses, police arrested three suspects in connection with Ray's death Sunday morning. Michael Wiggins, 26; Vernon Hadley, 22; and Nicky Woodward, 27, will face first-degree murder charges.
Ray was stationed in D.C.
