D.C. police are searching for a man they say murdered a baby last month.
Medics tried to save 3-month-old Skylar Newman after she was found unconscious and unresponsive at a home in the 4300 block of G Street SE the night of March 16, police said.
Skylar was taken to a hospital in grave condition and died on March 19.
Police said a medical examiner found that the baby died from blunt force injuries and the manner of death was homicide.
A warrant was issued for 25-year-old Cornell Delvonte Holton. Holton is wanted for first-degree murder.
Police are asking anyone with information about Holton's whereabouts to call 202-727-9099 or text a tip to 50411.
The Metropolitan Police Department is offering a reward of up to $25,000 to anyone who provides information that leads to the arrest and conviction of Holton.
