Loudoun County, Virginia, authorities have released a sketch of a man who tried to break into a home and assaulted a girl inside the home.

The girl told police she saw the suspect trying to come in her home in the 1300 block of E. Lee Road on about 9 p.m. Friday.

The suspect opened the kitchen window and leaned in halfway through the window, the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office said. The suspect moved further through the window and assaulted the girl before leaving the area.

The sheriff's office described the suspect as a Black male with a heavier build who is in his late teens to early 20s. He was wearing a white t-shirt with writing on the front. The girl said she had seen the suspect in the Sterling area a few days before the incident, according to police.

Police are asking anyone with information to call (703) 777-0475.
