Man Wanted for Groping Cyclist

New Shoulder Replacement Procedure Gives the Gift of Movement

The Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office wants information on a man accused of groping a woman on May 22. They released a sketch of the suspect today.

The victim was resting from a bike ride on the W&OD trail in Sterling, Va., when the man grabbed her from behind. He fled on foot when the woman screamed.

The suspect was described as a Hispanic male with black hair and pit marks on his face.  He was wearing a brown shirt and black pants with white stripes down the side.

The cyclist followed the suspect after the attack, but she lost sight of him when he ran toward Old Ox Road from Earl Wallace Drive.

The sheriff’s office would like anyone with information to call 703-777-0475. They also want trail users to follow certain safety guidelines including using the trail during peak hours.
