The Harford County Sheriff's Office is searching for a man accused of having his 5-year-old daughter steal a package from the front porch of a home in Bel Air, Maryland.
The little girl was caught on camera running up to the front door of a home on Inez Court on Nov. 30. In the video, the girl can be seen looking back briefly before grabbing a box off the porch.
According to the Harford County Sheriff's Office, the package contained a pair of boots.
Investigators released the surveillance footage, and someone was able to identify the girl. The tip led the sheriff's office to the girl's father, 46-year-old Gary Martin Smith.
A warrant was issued for his arrest. Smith is facing several charges, including theft under $100, contributing to the delinquency of a minor and 4th-degree burglary.
Anyone with information about Smith's whereabouts is asked to call the Harford County Sheriff's Office.
