The medical condition of a man who was struck by a vehicle in Northwest Wednesday afternoon remains unknown.
Police said the man was struck just after 3 p.m. at 17th Street and De Sales Street NW.
At the time, he was unconscious but he was breathing, officials said.
The vehicle that struck him remained on scene.
