Police are searching for a man who stole from a couple’s car while they were visiting a grave.
The couple visited the George Washington Cemetery on Riggs Road about 1 p.m. June 18 and were away from their car for about 15 minutes, police said.
While at the grave, someone opened their car door and stole a purse from inside. Surveillance cameras captured the suspect using one of the stolen credit cards at a store in the 3500 block of East West Highway in Hyattsville.
