A man was shot outside of a Silver Spring apartment complex Tuesday evening, in what police are calling a likely drive-by shooting.
Crews responded to the 8800 block of Bradford Road around 8 p.m. for a shooting. There, they found one gunshot victim who was transported to a local trauma center. Though his condition is unknown, he's said to be communicating with police.
"He was just walking down the road so we don't have [a motive] at this time," Lt. Sean Renauer with Montgomery County Police said.
Neighbors told News4 they were too scared to come outside to help the victim after hearing shots. One man said he had heard heated arguments between residents in the past.
"In and out there's been some arguments ... you can't tell these days," Preston Jackson told News4.
