A Prince George's County man will spend 50 years in prison for the murder of his wife and mother-in-law.
Malcolm Paul Thomas, 55, pleaded guilty last month to the deaths of 54-year-old Janice Marshal-Thomas and her 83-year-old mother Eunice Brooks.
The women were found beaten to death in their Oxon Hill home in August of 2014.
One witness told police that Thomas said he was "heading south" after confessing that "something bad happened."
Thomas was charged with two counts of second-degree murder.
