A Woodbridge, Va., man was robbed after arranging to sell a pair of shoes over a social media site.
The 21-year-old arranged to meet up with an unknown person to sell a pair of Jordans on Westway Lane in Woodbridge.
The victim says he went to the arranged rendezvous point Sunday afternoon and was approached by three unknown men, who proceeded to beat and rob him.
Two of the men began attacking the victim while the third took his cell phone, wallet and shoes, police said. When the victim tried to fight back, one of the assailants brandished a handgun.
When the victim was finally let go, he ran home and contacted police.
