Fairfax County firefighters rescued a man from a burning home in Burke, Va., early Wednesday.
The firefighters were called to a home on Church Way just after 4 a.m., where they found smoke coming from the garage, second floor and back of the home.
They found a man in a second floor bedroom and got him down safely. He was taken to a hospital for non-life threatening injuries.
The fire was brought under control within about 40 minutes. Damage is estimated to be $100,000.
