A man stabbed and killed another man at a Metro station in Maryland Wednesday evening, according to the transit agency.

Two men were arguing at the bus bay at the Addison Road Metro station when it became physical, Metro spokesman Dan Stessel said. One of the men pulled out a folding knife and stabbed the other in the chest.

The victim was pronounced dead at the scene, and the suspect is in custody, Metro said. Police believe they knew each other.

The station wasn't closed, and trains ran as usual. The area around the bus bay was closed.
