    D.C. Police say they found two shooting victims in the middle of 4th Street SE, not far from Southern Avenue and the Maryland line.

    One person is dead and another is in the hospital after another double shooting in Southeast D.C. this weekend.

    D.C. Police say they found two victims in the middle of 4th Street SE, not far from Southern Avenue and the Maryland line.

    Officers say a man was shot several times in the torso and died. A woman was shot in the leg and is expected to survive.

    Investigators say they're on the lookout for a silver four-door Nissan car in connection to this case.

    A homicide investigation has many questioning whether people in the transgender community are being targeted. Zoe Spears is the second transgender woman to be killed since March. She was found late last night just off Eastern Avenue in Fairmount Heights less than half a mile from where Ashanti Carmon was killed earlier this year. News4's Darcy Spencer reports.

    It's the second deadly double shooting in Southeast this weekend. Just after midnight on Saturday, police rushed into a Capitol Hill area apartment for a shooting report. A man was killed and a woman was injured in that shooting.
