Man Killed Performing Utility Work in Oxon Hill

A man has died after an apparent accident as he did utility work on a roadway in Oxon Hill, Maryland, officials say.

The man, who was not identified immediately, died after he was rescued from a trench on the 700 block of Neptune Avenue. He was trapped up to his chest, the Prince George's County fire department said.

No foul play is suspected. The investigation into what happened is ongoing.
