Police in Fredericksburg have identified a man who was killed in his home early Saturday morning.
Police say that 28-year-old Nathaniel Dywayne Henderson was found shot in the head by a friend inside a townhouse in Brock Square at around 3:30 a.m. The friend called 911 to alert the police, who did not find anyone else in the house when they arrived.
An investigation into the case is ongoing. Police say that while they do not currently have a motive for the shooting, they do not believe the crime was random.
