A man was shot and killed and a boy was wounded in southwest Washington, D.C., on Saturday night.
D.C. police said the deceased victim has been identified as Khyre Amar Ledbetter, 18, of northeast Washington. They said Lebetter and the boy were found inside an apartment in the 300 block of P Street Southwest around 9:20 p.m. on Nov. 25.
Both victims were taken to the hospital, where Ledbetter was pronounced dead. The boy suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
Police have not released any information about the people involved in the fatal shooting.
