Man Gets Pinned Against Building with Car

Anne Arundel County police said a driver pinned another man to a building with his car early Sunday morning.

Police said they were called to the My Place Bar and Lounge on Annapolis Road in Odenton at 2:19 a.m. They found a man, 36 years old, on the ground outside the business.

The victim was taking to the University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore. He is listed in critical, but stable condition.

During their investigation, officers found Kwesi Duson Cozier, 25, from Upper Marlboro, receiving treatment at the Prince George’s Hospital Center for injuries from a fight.

They determined Cozier and the victim were involved in a dispute in the bar’s parking lot over a woman when Cozier allegedly hit the victim with his car, pinning him against the building.

Cozier was arrested and charged with attempted murder, first- and second-degree assault, and reckless endangerment.
