Prince George's County police found a man in Suitland Friday night who was shot and later died of his injuries.
The victim is identified as Maurice Donnell Featherson, 27, of northeast Washington.
Police found Featherson in the 3300 block of Curtis Drive around 7:30 p.m. in a parking lot. He was taken to the hospital where he succumbed to the wound.
Detectives are working to establish a motive. They do not believe this was a random shooting.
