A man was stabbed to death Monday night in southwest D.C., the Metropolitan Police Department said.
The stabbing happened about 9:30 p.m. in the 3900 block of Martin Luther King Jr. Avenue SW. When officers arrived at the scene, victim David Thomas Neal, 31, was found in a parking lot unconscious and unresponsive, suffering from multiple stab wounds. D.C. Fire and EMS transported Neal to a hospital where he later died, police said.
Police described the suspect as a black man standing between 5-feet-2 and 5-feet-5-inches tall and wearing a blue shirt at the time of the crime.
