A man is in serious condition after falling down a 30-foot window well at Voice of America headquarters in Southwest early Sunday morning.
A spokesman for D.C. Fire and EMS said the fall was the result of horseplay.
At about 12:30 a.m., a man in his 20s jumped over a wall without looking.
Firefighters used a ramp to rescue the man, who was unconscious. He was taken to a trauma center with life-threatening injuries.
Hazmat responded and conducted atmospheric monitoring tests.
