A man driving a dirt bike was killed in a collision with a D.C. police cruiser Friday after he allegedly drove down the wrong side of the road.
Police identified the man as 22-year-old Jeffrey Wayne Price of Northeast D.C.
Price was traveling northbound at a high rate of speed down the wrong side of Division Avenue about 1:50 p.m. Friday when he struck a marked police cruiser, police said. Price was thrown from the bike.
He was taken to a hospital where he died.
The officer wasn't hurt.
The collision is under investigation.
