A man and a women were shot in the head inside a home in Stafford County, Virginia, authorities say.
A 911 caller said they found the pair covered in blood in an upstairs bedroom of a house on New Hope Church Road about 6 p.m. Saturday, the Stafford County Sheriff's Office said.
Michael Shane Nelson, 41, died of his injuries at the house.
The woman, who was not identified, was taken to a hospital after a deputy performed live-saving measures. Her condition is not clear at this time.
