D.C. Police are investigating a shooting that left one man critically injured Wednesday evening.
Crews responded to the 100 block of Darrington Street SW just before 7 p.m. There, they found a man shot in the back. He was transported to a local hospital with critical injuries.
Police have not yet released suspect information or a motive.
The incident occured within hours of another shooting in Anacostia, where another man was also critically injured.
