A Centreville man is in custody this morning, charged with Fairfax County's first homicide of the year.
Police accuse Benjamin Walker of killing his roommate, Ryah Leslie, 22, in their home at 5923 Gunther Court.
Fairfax County officers responded to the address around 1:30 p.m. on Sunday after Walker entered the Pre-Release Center and reported a woman inside the Gunther Court home was deceased.
The victim had trauma to her upper body.
Walker, also 22, was charged with murder after further investigation. Police aren't saying why they believe Walker killed Leslie.
