Man Charged With Giving Fatal Buttocks Injections Back in Md.: Police

A man accused of giving a woman buttocks injections that later resulted in her death is facing a murder charge, the Prince George's County Sheriff's Office announced Friday.

According to an arrest warrant, Vinnie Taylor met the victim at a hotel room in Capitol Heights on March 20, 2014 and gave her injections in her buttocks. Investigators say the woman became ill after the injections and checked herself into a local hospital, where she later died.

Detectives say they were unable to find any evidence that Taylor had any medical training. The woman's death was ruled a homicide.

A warrant for Taylor's arrest was issued Dec. 10, 2014, and he was arrested in St. Louis, Missouri. Deputies traveled to St. Louis on Dec. 30 to transport Taylor back to the county. He arrived in Prince George's County the following day.

Taylor is charged with second-degree murder, first-degree assault and reckless endangerment.

In recent years, numerous other cases involving illegal buttocks injections have surfaced.

Last year, a Tennessee woman, Natasha Stewart, was found guilty of manslaughter in connection with the illicit silicone buttocks injections that prosecutors say killed a Georgia woman in 2012. Authorities say Stewart, an adult entertainer also known as Pebbelz Da Model, took $200 for a referral to the alleged injector and falsely represented that the injector was a nurse.

A South Florida woman, Oneal Morris, was arrested in 2011 after several victims said Morris had injected their legs and buttocks with a mixture that included Fix-a-Flat, cement and superglue. She pleaded guilty practicing medicine without a license.

"I think the whole Kardashian complex has taken over and a lot of people do want that look from behind," said a woman named Christina, who legally went through buttock enhancement surgery said.  "You can't cheap out on this one. It's your health and your body."

Surgery typically costs several thousand dollars.
