Maryland State Police have arrested a North Carolina man wanted in connection with the abduction of his daughter.
Nichon Skinner, 42, was taken into custody Thursday afternoon in Charles County.
Police say Skinner, the non-custodial parent, took 5-year-old Sincere Skinner following a domestic incident in Greensboro, N.C.
State police were notified by authorities in North Carolina that Skinner may have been traveling to Maryland via Rt. 301. Within minutes, a trooper noticed Skinner's white and blue Ford Crown Victoria.
Skinner was arrested without incident, and Sincere was found unharmed inside the car.
Skinner is being held without bond on a fugitive warrant. In North Carolina, he faces charges of first and second degree child abduction and assault by strangulation.
