Police in Washington say they've arrested a man for a robbery and attempted sexual abuse.
Police say they were called Wednesday to the 7400 block of Ninth Street NW for a report of a robbery. Police say when they arrived, they found a juvenile female who was the victim of a robbery and an attempted sexual abuse.
Police say on Saturday they arrested George Francis, 21, of northwest Washington. Police arrested Francis after getting a warrant charging him with assault with the intent to commit first degree sex abuse.
A woman who answered the telephone Saturday at a listing for Francis and identified herself as his mother said she did not want to comment.
