Police say a 29-year-old man has been arrested for allegedly exposing himself to a 15-year-old girl outside of a Metro stop in Silver Spring.
According to officials, the victim was sitting on a bench at the corner of University Boulevard West and Colesville Road Sunday at approximately 8:30 p.m. She said she then noticed a man moving closer and closer next to her.
The girl told police the man's zipper was down and he was exposing himself to her. She then ran from the scene, found a police officer in a marked car and gave the officer a description of the suspect.
Officers located the man, identified as Jose Castro, walking on Lanark Way at Lorain Avenue, four blocks away from the site of the exposure.
Castro was charged with one count of indecent exposure and is being held on a $2,600 bond.
