Police say a 22-year-old Waldorf, Md. man was traveling in Ocean City with a loaded gun.
According to officials, Ocean City Police pulled over a car in the area of 127th Street and White Street June 8 just after 10 p.m. Police smelled marijuana in the car, and after the occupants got out of the car, officers patted them down.
At that point, David Lavell Wiggins was found to be in possession of a loaded 9mm semi-automatic handgun.
Wiggins did not have a permit to carry the handgun and was arrested and charged with possession of a handgun.
