Man Charged In UMd. Armed Robbery

Student was robbed by two masked men

University of Maryland Police have charged a 21-year-old Riverdale man for his alleged involvement in an on-campus robbery this week.

Isaiah Graham is charged with armed robbery, assault and identity theft in the Nov. 17 incident, which occurred in a parking lot near Cecil Hall. A Maryland student told police that he was approached by two men wearing masks, one of whom pulled a knife and demanded the victim's property.

Graham had been arrested in Washington D.C. for an unrelated robbery when the charges from the Maryland incident were brought. Authorities are currently looking into the possibility that Graham was involved in a separate series of robberies at George Washington University last week.

A second suspect in the Maryland robbery is currently at large and is described as a black male standing about six feet tall, with a medium build and wearing dark clothing.
