We’ve been warned that this morning’s commute could be a nightmare. An accident in College Park may be proving those warnings to be true.
A tractor-trailer overturned on ramp from the Outer Loop of the Beltway to I-95 northbound, forcing the ramp to close. The accident happened early this morning. It caused major delays on both loops of the Beltway, as drivers scrambled to find alternative routes.
There’s no word yet on when that ramp will reopen. Crews had yet to get the semi back on its wheels as of 7 a.m. Crews also had to deal with a diesel fuel spill.
