Madame Tussauds to Unveil William and Kate in Wax

Prince William and his wife are coming to Washington, in wax.

Madame Tussauds says it is unveiling the wax figures of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge on Thursday at its Washington location. The British Deputy Ambassador to the United States, Patrick Davies, will be on hand for the event.

Madame Tussauds says it took four months to create each figure. William's wife, formerly known as Catherine Middleton, will be dressed in a copy of the pale lilac Alexander McQueen gown that she wore to a Los Angeles event in 2011 and a recreation of her sapphire and diamond engagement ring. William will wear a navy suit.

This isn't the first time Madame Tussauds has recreated royals. Queen Elizabeth II has been modeled by the attraction over 20 times.
