MPD Identifies Person of Interest in Armed Robbery

Washington Metropolitan Police have identified a person of interest in two armed robberies reported last October in D.C.'s Ledroit Park neighborhood.

The weekend of Oct. 20, three males, at least two of whom were armed, approached a group of people walking within the same mile radius. In the first early morning incident, occurring in the 500 block of T Street in Northwest, the suspects took the four victims’ wallets, cell phones, cash, and a watch. On Sunday Oct. 21, in the 2100 block of 2nd St, NW, the suspects took money, an iPhone, and sneakers from one of the victims.

In the second incident, one of the suspects brandished a shotgun, then ordered the victims to relinquish their property as they lay on the ground.

Metropolitan Police report the suspects were last seen in a 2006-2008 Nissan Altima or Maxima with tinted windows.

Individuals with additional information about this investigation are urged to contact D.C. Police.
