MARC's Brunswick Line on Modified Schedule After Flooding

MARC's Brunswick Line will operatie on a modified schedule Monday as the transit system continues to recover from last week's severe weather. 

Tracks between Brunswick and Germantown and between Monocacy and Point of Rocks on the Frederick branch were damaged after days of heavy rain and flooding. The Maryland Transit Administration that says CSX fas repaired their infrastructire and floodwaters are beginning to recede, but equipment was moved to protect railcars from flooding.

One train is scheduled to leave from West Virginia Monday morning, but all three will operate in the afternoon.
