The Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office arrested 53-year Stanley M. Wruk in July after he allegedly solicited sexual acts from a 15-year-old girl using Facebook.
Police said Wruk befriended the victim on the social website, contacting her through online chats and also text messages. He then allegedly purchased a hotel room and arranged to meet the young girl at a restaurant in Sterling, Va. on July 29.
When Wruk arrived at the restaurant, he was met by officers with the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office Sex Crimes Unit, who placed him under arrest.
He remains held without bond at the Loudoun County Adult Detention Center, for use of communications systems to solicit a minor and attempted indecent liberties of a minor.
Loudoun County Sheriff's Office said Wruk also communicated with another underage girl by sending her a friend request on Facebook.
The agency is asking anyone who had inappropriate contact with Stanley Wruk to contact Investigator K. Leigh of the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigations Division at 703-777-0475.
