Missing Jewelry in Fairfax? Police Want You

Police hope to return stolen jewelry to its owners

Did you have jewelry stolen from your home? Fairfax County police may be just who you’re looking for.

They’re trying to find the rightful owners of more than 100 pieces of jewelry recovered after several thefts. The jewelry was recovered seven years ago, after a woman working as a caregiver was charged with grand larceny. Unfortunately, investigators fear many of the jewelry owners have since passed away.

Here are some of the items recovered:

  • a gold ring inscribed with an 1866 date
  • 18 necklaces
  • 31 pairs of earrings
  • 18 broaches
  • 7 watches
  • several pendants

If you think you own any of these items, call the police at the Mason Police District Station. The number is: 703-256-8035.
