ROCKVILLE, Md. -- Still trying to identify a man found dead along Interstate 270 in Germantown last week, police released a composite sketch of what he probably looked like in hopes that someone will recognize him.
The body was found by a driver early on the morning of Feb. 5 at the edge of the ramp connecting eastbound Father Hurley Boulevard and southbound Interstate 270. Police have classified the death as a homicide.
They describe the victim as a Hispanic man, in his late 30s or early 40s, 6-feet tall, 260 pounds, with short brown hair. At the time his body was found, he was wearing a brown knit cap, a brown leather jacket, blue jeans with embroidered designs on the rear pockets, and brown ankle-high cowboy boots. He also was wearing several necklaces.
Anyone who may have information about the victim is asked to call Montgomery County police at 240-773-5070.
