Two local veterans are in the running to win a free franchise from 7-Eleven.
The convenience store chain is sponsoring a contest on Facebook called Operation: Take Command.
Veterans applied to participate, and the one with the most votes who passes an interview with 7-Eleven officials wins the franchise.
Max Powell of Woodbridge, Virginia, and Raymond Kempisty of Laurel, Maryland, are in the top 10.
Voting ends Sunday.
